COVID-19 Site Measures
Upon the reopening of the Oaks campsite, there will be a number of changes to the site to allow our visitors and staff to remain safe yet still have an amazing time. This page gives all the site updates and information for both leaders and parents to understand what to expect when visiting, along with the measures we are taking to ensure the safety of everyone.
Current Update (30th March 2021)
The campsite will be open again from 24th April for non-residential bookings from pre-booked Groups. Initially, the site will be only available to groups from Loughborough and Charnwood Districts, and for weekend bookings only. The main field, campfire circle and jungle trail will be available.
We are working hard to bring as many of our activities and facilities online as soon as we can, and make available during the week, and to groups from other Districts.
Groups can register interest for dates, for use of field and residential bookings for dates when residential experiences are permitted by The Scout Association. The site is not available for use by the general public or Leaders personal bookings.
Below is the breakdown of the most recent update showing what is able to be booked and to whom it is available to. Not only are we reacting to the current restrictions, we are also regaining our feet in how the site is run, therefore we may not be able to accommodate everyone as of yet.
