Who are we?

The Oaks Scout Campsite is in a beautiful part of northern Leicestershire. It is in the unspoilt, ancient Charnwood Forest, which is just one part of the neighbouring National Forest.

The site consists of 10 acres of ancient oak woodland and 10 acres of grassland, as well as two buildings for indoor accommodation. The site also offers a range of adventurous activities…

We’re always in need of a helping hand at the campsite. Whether you would like to be part of the maintenance team to take care of the site or a warden to look after our visitors, we can find something suited to anyone.

The Campsite was for us a new experience and I think we will Camp there again. We were a bit annoyed at the activities that were changed last minute, but pleased with what was put into place. The main problem we had was the hill, but that wasn't the Campsites fault, we need to be fitter next time.

Great Scout campsite that can be rented out. Great facilities, loads to do, massive field to camp and play in.

Great Scout camp here in september 2021. Facilities are great for the scouts and the activities kept us busy all weekend long.

Amazing. We went on an expedition with the 88th scouts from some pub 10miles away and walked here. Huge field for activities and scaring the *** out of your friends at night😂
