Following the new Scout Association’s guidelines and government announcement, we are excited to announce that we will be opening the campsite up further.
We will now be taking bookings for residential visits for Scout and Guide groups and Duke of Edinburgh expedition visits. This includes the use of camping on the field, using the Alpine hut or staying in the Clarke hut. However the Clarke hut is currently limited to 16 sleeping occupants at a time to follow the latest TSA guidelines (6 and 4 people between 2 bunk rooms, and 6 in the main hall).
Anyone who has already provisionally booked to stay with us from now till December, will be sent an email in the next couple of weeks to arrange a confirmation deposit. If you do not hear from us after that, please get in touch to sort out your booking.
All activities are to be opened back up as normal from the 4th September. Climbing, archery and shooting are all subject to availability of instructors. Please note that sessions may also be cancelled/postponed last minute due to Covid reasons.
Thank you everyone for your patience in allowing us to get the site back up and running. There has been plenty of work put into the site through the pandemic to make the site as best as we can, ready for young people to enjoy it once again!
